Every single PC or server is run by an Operating System - the low-level program that interacts with the hardware, including peripherals such as a mouse and a printer, along with any apps that are installed on the system. We leave the possibility to change the server Operating System open, so if you want to use software that requires an OS different from the one you have, we can always re-install the VPS. In addition, we can keep the OS up-to-date weekly by installing all the security updates that may be released.

The dedicated servers that we offer can be set up with three different Operating Systems as we want to give you more flexible solutions that will permit you to install and run any kind of web software irrespective of its system requirements. The options are CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu and these 3 OSs are among the most reliable and risk-free ones, not mentioning that they don't have any kind of license fees. All three have a large number of developers who have created a large number of software packages that you'll be able to install and use on your web hosting server. We also offer three web hosting Control Panels and which one you can use will depend on the Operating System that you select when you sign up. In case you need a different OS later, it will not be a problem since we can always reinstall your server. With our Managed Services package we could also keep your OS secure by updating it on a weekly basis with any patches that are available for it.
